Cocoa or Coffee Mug

Made these cute little mugs to hold cocoa packets for my kids teachers for Christmas this year. They are so easy and fun to do - I cut a file out of the thin white cardboard like paper that comes in the paper packs that you get so that it would give it more stability. I then cut the patterned paper and glued it onto the cardboard. I cut them at 5.43W x 9.64H. The svg file for SCAL 2 can be downloaded here. If you do not have the Sure Cuts A Lot program to use the SVG file then the paper pattern can be printed here from Mirkwood Designs. My design on the mugs is very simple but you could do with them what you want. Makes a cute small something to give to someone for any occassion!

Delightful.

Expect to see some traffic as I posted the link to the Cocoa Mug packets on the SCAL forum after someone was looking for one.

This is really cute, thanks for sharing the file.

I just cut one and the handle is really skinny on the bottom part and it doesn't look that way on the pictures of your completed ones, which btw, are very cute!!!

Just didn't know if it was something I was doing wrong or what.

Thanks for your help.

ScrappinKay did you happen to move the file and not have the middle part of the handle grouped with the whole file when you moved it?

I checked the file again and it printed fine for me!

Hi Mel, thanks for your reply. I went back and looked at it before I resized it and it still looks smaller around the bottom edge of the handle. I am not able to select different sections, it's all one layer for me.

Would it make a difference if I am using SCAL 1 or 2? I am still using 2.

scrappinkay let me know your email and I will send you the file again. I checked it one more time and everything is okay with the file. I printed it again and it turned out fine as well!
