Card Challenge Day 1 - 4

When of my girlfriends challenged each of us in my group of scrapbook friends (Ravenous Red Squirrels) to do the 365 Cards Challenge I knew I had to try it. The challenge had already started and was at Day 3 so I knew I had some catching up to do but I thought it would be fun and would definitely keep my card supply plentiful as well as keeping me motivated! I decided to start with Day 3 - String Art and here is what I came up with:For Day 2 Circle, Silver, Pearl I came up with this:For Day 4-White Space - I came up with this:The graduation cap can be downloaded here in svg form.

At first glance on this sketch from page maps, I thought there is no way I can do this one since all my pictures are too close up. However, after looking at it further, I decided this would be a good one for all my jetskiing pictures of the kids. Where you are to put two small photos I decided to make one long photo instead. I think it turned out pretty neat. The great journal paper can be found on Paulo's site here and the jet ski file I got from Heather's blog found here. I just love both of these files - they have come in quite handy for my layouts!

Make The Cut - Easter Chick

Last weekend I got the new program Make The Cut and let me tell you, it is AWESOME!!!! It is so much more user friendly than Sure Cuts A Lot even though I love both programs, there are pros and cons to each. This is my very first detailed cut from the program and I hope you like him. A little chick just in time for your Easter projects! When I cut him I noticed I didn't do the grass real well but I have changed that in each of the files.
