Yo Ho Yo Ho A Dog's Life for Me!
Created this layout using the Golden Retriever file from Lisa's Precious Piecings - love her files! Now is a good time to stop over and check out her files! She has a spring sale going on until Friday, March 7. You can save 50% off your entire purchase when you use Google checkout!
The font I used was Primitive which is one of my newest favorite fonts!

At first glance on this sketch from page maps, I thought there is no way I can do this one since all my pictures are too close up. However, after looking at it further, I decided this would be a good one for all my jetskiing pictures of the kids. Where you are to put two small photos I decided to make one long photo instead. I think it turned out pretty neat. The great journal paper can be found on Paulo's site here and the jet ski file I got from Heather's blog found here. I just love both of these files - they have come in quite handy for my layouts!

Lake Fun!
More layouts I did of my family having fun at our local lake this past summer. I must admit that after a while I feel like the layouts of the same place never have any character to then - you feel like you are doing the same pages over and over! The scalloped circle on this page was taken from my favorite font Kutups. I cut the file into four pieces therefore only using one section of the file on this page.
The boat cut file can be downloaded from this layout here. The bracket box journaling box svg can be downloaded here. These files are for the Sure Cuts A Lot 2 program.

I finally finished my challenge that was due by Oct. 31. I had one day to spare - yeah! Here is what I came up with. I used the Life's a Beach Cricut cartridge to make the Anchors Away and I made a wave svg using one of the punches. You can download the wave border here.

Just did this layout of our kids feeding the carp at our local lake. We always go to the dollar store and get a bag of cheap puppy food to feed them. My little niece is always saying "Here Fishy" as she is feeding them so I thought that would be a fitting title for the page. These large fish are everywhere and if you are not careful you will definitely get splashed! I am so glad I printed the picture of the fish in the 8-1/2 x 11 size (even though I cut it down a little) because it works well with this layout!

My son finally decided to take the boating course this summer. He didn't want to do it online (which I thought was easier) but instead chose to take a two day course that was a total of 8 hours long. In the long run I think it was better for him to be sitting in a classroom hearing all the material. No way he could have done it online because he would have had to read something - oh no! Anyways with his new certificate he is able to run the jet ski by himself now! The bad part of that is that we don't see our poor jet ski much anymore except for when he gets hungry! LOL Here is the two page layout I did to highlight this accomplishment of his! The second page photos turned out great considering I was very far away from him and don't have the best camera in the world.
