C & O Canal Tow Path
Here is another layout using a challenge with this page map on the Cricut MB. These are great for giving you new ideas when you brain is just not working! I used my newly purchased Safari Chic paper pack on this one! I need to journal it yet!

Fun on the Boardwalk
Well this is a plain layout but most of mine are! I took Okie's challenge on the Cricut MB to make this layout. Here was the page map we were to somewhat follow! More of these great layout maps can also be found on www.pagemaps.com. There are layout and card ideas for you to use! I print them each month for future references!
All I need to do is my journaling yet but other than that it is done. My DH would kill me if he knew I posted this photo of him online. He is nuts anyways - never a dull moment with him! I used my new Chocolate Box color core cardstock and sanded it. I just love the color core papers. You can do so much with them and always get a different outcome!

More Beach Layouts
Slowly but surely I am getting caught up on my beach photos from back in October 2008. I would have gotten more done tonight but I went back and journaled over 20 some pages that I had let go. It feels so good gettings things caught up and in order! Too bad it never lasts - I always take more and more photos!

Finally got a Score-Pal
I have been watching for the Scor-Pal to go on sale at a good price for over two months. Well my time came - It went on sale for $34 with free shipping and boom I ordered it. It arrived the day before I was leaving for my retreat so I didn't get to use it. Last night I decided it was time to get it out and break it in. I had to make a thank card from our group to the guy who designed our group shirts so I decided to test it out on his card. I love how easy it is to use and can see endless possibilities with it.

Mistakes Galore
Well I thought it was bad when I spelled Cruisin wrong on my previous layout and remember when I said I am sure there are many more mistakes in my scrapbooks? Well I have spent the past hour and a half changing screw ups in my books. I was trying to put things in order and get some scrapbooks put away (I have five in progress right now) when I noticed that I had my daughters school pictures as second grade and guess what she is in fifth. I now I don't want her to grow up anymore but that is ridiculous. I also realized I had fourth grade photos with her fifth grade things and on and on. I guess I need to stop the late night scrapbooking or either learn to concentrate a little more. I have only gone through one scrapbook I hate to move on to the next ones!
RECIPE SWAP
I wanted to post all the cards we received in the recipe swap at our retreat last weekend. The girls all did an awesome job! We had so much fun doing them as well as receiving them that we have decided to do two recipe swaps at our next retreat in Sept - besides we have almost seven months to complete them. We are going to do a Christmas Dessert one and a soup one! Can't wait to see what everyone comes up!

Jody made us two because she had so much fun making them!
